Sens, Yonne – In a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship, Thibaut Drouin recently participated in the final adapted session of the season organized by the Bourgogne Franche-Comté League. The event, held on Wednesday, June 4, in Sens, Yonne, was a resounding success, bringing together young judokas from the local club and providing a platform for inclusive sports.

Adapted Session Highlights

The session, led by esteemed coaches Laurent Crost, Estelle Le Gall, and Sébastien Epailly, featured a series of engaging workshops focused on fall techniques, aikido, speed, and strength. Thibaut Drouin distinguished himself by securing the second position in a competitive morning session. The afternoon saw the young judokas from the Sens Judo Club engaging in training and games with individuals with disabilities, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual respect.

Just three days later, on June 7, Thibaut Drouin was again at the forefront, this time supervising young judokas from the Chalindrey club during the Samurai Final in Giffaumont-Champaubert near Lac du Der, in the Marne department. Five young judokas from the Chalindrey club participated, with notable performances by Angeline Gautherot, Mathilde Praom, William Devaux, Félicien Violle, and Louis Webb, who secured gold and silver medals respectively. The CSC Judo leaders congratulated the young judokas for their outstanding participation.
