Rome – In the fight once morest mass tourism, more and more Italian holiday resorts are taking measures to limit tourist flows. The magnificent Villa del Balbianello on Lake Como, where scenes from 007 films or Star Wars were filmed, limits the number of visitors to a maximum of 1,200 tourists per day who can be admitted to the residence. This is intended to reduce their number by 10,000 per month.
