‘Jailor to be given A certificate’; Lots of scenes of violence, plead not suitable for children

Public Interest Litigation in Madras High Court once morest Rajinikanth starrer ‘Jailer’. The demand is to cancel the U/A certificate of the film and replace it with an A certificate. Advocate ML Ravi has approached the court.

The petitioner points out that there are many scenes of violence in the film. There is a scene where the villain beats someone to death with a hammer. It is also not suitable for children, the petition said. The film has been given an A certificate in the US and UK. The petitioner also demands that the jailer’s exhibition be suspended until the plea is decided.

Directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar starring Rajinikanth in the lead, the film has crossed the Rs 400 crore box office collection mark. Jailer is a Rajinikanth film that is hitting the theaters following a gap of two years. The film is garnering great response everywhere.
