When the 43rd Saalfelden Jazz Festival takes place from August 17th to 20th, both genre purists and friends of new sounds will get their money’s worth. With more than 50 events, they want to “celebrate the diversity of jazz,” said director Mario Steidl to the APA. The complete program was presented on Thursday. The opening on the main stage, traditionally a commissioned work, will be performed this year by Lukas König.
