Jeon In-ji wins major women’s PGA Championship… 4 LPGA career wins

    Jeon In-ji won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, a major event in the US Women’s Professional Golf and LPGA Tour.

    In-ji Jeon recorded a 3-over par 75 with 2 birdies and 5 bogeys in the final 4 rounds of the tournament held today (27th) our time at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

    Jeon In-ji, with a final total of 5 under par 283, took second place Lexi Thompson of the United States and Lee Min-ji of Australia by one stroke to rise to the top.

    In particular, Jeon In-ji has won three of her four career victories on the LPGA Tour following the 2015 US Women’s Open and the 2016 Evian Championship.

    In-Jeon Jeon’s LPGA Tour championship is the first in three years and eight months since the KEB Hana Bank Championship in October 2018.

    With Jeon In-ji’s victory, the Korean player’s ‘consecutive draw’ in the LPGA Tour’s major tournament, which had been held since A-rim Kim of the 2020 US Open, ended with 7 tournaments.
