On Tuesday last week, the media received information regarding the death Jerzy Stuhr. The actor died at the age of 77. The information regarding his death was confirmed by his son Maciej. The artist had been struggling with serious health problems for years.
On Wednesday at 12:00 in the church of St. Peter and Paul in Krakow, the mass began funeral actor. The ceremony was attended by family, loved ones, and friends from the art world, including Zbigniew Zamachowski, Marian Dziędziel, Marek Kondrat, Agnieszka Holland, Monika Olejnik, Gabriela Muskała, Mariusz Ostrowski, Dorota Segda, Bartosz Opania and Olgierd Lukaszewicz.
The actor’s ashes were placed in a stone urn surrounded by an installation of crystal flowers. During the funeral procession, the artist’s decorations were carried along with the portrait. After the mass, Jerzy Stuhr will be buried at the Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow. The ceremony at the cemetery is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
