Jesper Andersen becomes new Head of IT for Switzerland at Credit Suisse

Nykredit’s current CIO will sit on the bank’s national board and Chief Information Officer Management Committee.

Jesper Andersen will take over as Head of IT Switzerland at Credit Suisse on January 1, 2023 and will thus serve on the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd and the Chief Information Officer Management Committee.

Jesper Andersen has been CIO and member of the management of Nykredit since 2017. Previously, he held various CIO positions at Nordea from 2012 to 2017 and held senior technology roles at Goldman Sachs from 1998 to 2012. He holds a Masters in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and trained in management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jesper Andersen will report to Global Chief Information Officer Laura Barrowman and André Helfenstein, CEO of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd.

André Helfenstein said: “In Jesper Andersen, we now have a proven technology expert with decades of experience in the financial industry. I am convinced that it will give a decisive impetus to our IT platform and our digitization efforts, in close cooperation with the business sectors concerned.”
