Just a few days ago, actor John Cena confirmed his rumored return to WWE in the face of a very special fight against the current universal champion of this sports microcosm, but don’t be fooled: his temporary return to the ring will be just a parenthesis within the framework of his increasingly successful acting career.
In fact, the artist has followed, perhaps with a slightly lower level of success so far, the same steps as other stars of wrestling like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Dave Bautista, and now he will try to consolidate that new interpretive profile with a significant role in the latest installment of the ‘Fast and Furious’ saga, called ‘F9’ and in which Cena will play none other than the brother of the character played by Vin Diesel.
So satisfying has been his experience in the franchise, that John Cena is eager to start preparing a new installment to, hopefully, get back in it. However, in an exercise of humility, the actor has acknowledged that the final decision about his appearance will not depend on him.
“I am a fan of the movies and my character. I would like to see more about Jakob. But as I am the rookie of the squad, obviously I am not important enough to make those kinds of decisions,” he explained to the Insider portal.
