Amber Heard’s legal team begins their closing arguments
Heard’s attorney, Benjamin Rottenborn, asked the jury to consider what Depp and his team told the jury to convince them of their burden of proof.
“Think of the message that Mr. Depp and his lawyers are sending to Amber and, by extension, to all victims of domestic abuse everywhere. If you didn’t take photos, it didn’t happen. If you took photos, they are fake. If you didn’t tell your friends, you’re lying. If you told your friends they are fake and part of the deception“, Rottneborn said.
In Depp’s world, if you let him, he will do anything to start a “global humiliation campaign once morest you” and destroy your life, he added.
