Under the banner of Nuevas Ideas, José Urbina won the 2024 municipal elections, and will be the new mayor of San Salvador Oeste, where he will mark a new history in Apopa and Nejapa.

Urbina, who served as a legislator in the Legislative Assembly, reiterated his commitment to continue working for the security and well-being of Salvadorans, working hand in hand with the current Government to guarantee new programs and projects for the benefit of the inhabitants.

Among its proposals are:

⁃ An agreement on educational issues so that new modalities can be incorporated that allow high school students to expand their work skills. ⁃ Projects with the central government to provide comprehensive solutions to the needs of the population of San Salvador Oeste. ⁃ Municipal management close to people who work as a team in the search for solutions.
