Vienna/Salzburg – The managing director of Jugend am Werk Salzburg (JAW), Uwe Höfferer, on Friday rejected statements by the Autonomous Austrian Women’s Shelters (AÖF), which had claimed this week, among other things, that the state of Salzburg only had 15 more places in the Pinzgau women’s shelter, because two autonomous women’s shelters no longer exist. “In Salzburg there are 38 places for women affected by violence,” emphasized Höfferer to the APA.
