Kamala Harris chooses Tim Walz (60) as running mate: “Chosen for mister nice guy, a man who appeals to ordinary people”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has already responded briefly to Walz’s appointment. In an email to his followers, Trump proclaimed that Walz would unleash “hell on earth” and “open our borders to the worst criminals imaginable.”

Walz is considered even worse than Harris. “He’s so bad,” it sounds. Trump’s campaign team also calls Walz a “dangerous left-wing extremist” and a “nightmare” for every American.

Trump’s running mate JD Vance is continuing that momentum at a rally he held. “Harris listened to the Hamas wing of her party when she selected her running mate,” he lashed out.

“The biggest problem is not Walz herself, but the fact that this shows that Harris is bowing to the most radical members of her party,” Vance said.

Harris herself was until recently the running mate of sitting president Joe Biden. Until he announced on July 21 that he would no longer be a candidate. Biden put Harris forward as his successor. In the meantime, she was officially chosen by the party as the presidential candidate.
