Kanagawa Chamber Orchestra will hold a summer concert on August 24th at Midori Art Park in Midori Ward, Yokohama City.

As part of the 2024 Midori and Art and Culture Support Project, the Kanagawa Chamber Orchestra’s “Summer Concert 2024” will be held on Saturday, August 24th at the Midori Art Park, Midori Community Cultural Center (2-1-3 Nagatsuta, Midori-ku, Yokohama). Doors open at 1:30 pm and the concert starts at 2:00 pm. The concert is sponsored by the Kenchu ​​Musicians Association and co-sponsored by the Midori Community Cultural Center.

The soloist will be violinist Momoko Konishi. Ms. Konishi is a promising young violinist who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed her graduate studies there, and then completed her graduate studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Hannover in Germany with top honors.

Ticket prices are 4,000 yen for adults (3,800 yen for advance tickets) and 2,000 yen for high school students and younger. Those who live, work, or study in Midori Ward, Yokohama City, will receive a 200 yen discount as a Midori ward resident benefit (only available at Midori Art Park ticket counters. Identification must be presented). All seats are unreserved.
