Kapé Kapé denounces murder of three indigenous people in Guarataro

They did not reveal the identities. Relatives assure that they were not engaged in mining.

Three indigenous people from the Jivi community were killed in the Guarataro parish of the Sucre municipality of the Bolivar state.

This was reported by the Kapé Kapé civil association on its social networks. By indicating that family members were the ones who disclosed the information.

They presume that the perpetrators are armed groups operating in the area. They clarified that they were not engaged in mining or any “similar activity.”

They affirm that they were performing mañoco when they were assassinated. They did not reveal the identity of the people who lost their lives.
