Bielsko-Biała – Great start for Austria’s athletes in the European Games: Karateka Bettina Plank won gold for the ÖOC team in Poland in the Kumite class up to 50 kg without being defeated. The 31-year-old defeated the Italian Erminia Perfetto 1-0 in the final in Bielsko-Biała on Thursday evening. She repeated her European Games gold from 2019, in 2015 she had won silver at the first European Games.
