Karelian Athlete Lyudmila Martynovich Wins Gold at World All-Style Karate Championship

An athlete from Karelia Lyudmila Martynovich won a gold medal at the World All-Style Karate Championship. The competitions are taking place in Orel, with more than 400 athletes from 26 countries taking part, the republic’s Ministry of Education and Sports reported.

Among the championship participants are karatekas from Germany, Austria, Israel, Greece, India, Cameroon, Benin, Congo, Ivory Coast, Cuba and other countries.

An athlete from Karelia Lyudmila Martynovich won in the category “solo kata”. After that, she became a two-time world champion.
