Karim Benzema ignites speculation before the France-Argentina match with a “mysterious” post

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The French player, Karim Benzema, raised speculation and questions following a “mysterious” post he published a day before the French national team’s match once morest his Argentine counterpart in the 2022 World Cup Final in Qatar.

Benzema posted a picture of him on his official page, the photo-sharing site “Instagram”, with a comment in French, in which he said: “This does not concern me,” without providing additional details or references, which sparked a wide interaction among activists on social networking sites.

The French national team had announced, before the start of the World Cup, Benzema’s absence from the World Cup in its twenty-second edition, due to injury, following medical examinations showed that he was suffering from pain in the muscles of the left thigh.

The “Roosters” striker had suffered a previous injury with Spanish club Real Madrid, in his right foot, which forced him to miss the recent “Merengue” matches.

For the first time since 1978, the Golden Ball winner will miss the World Cup finals, as Karim Benzema won the Ballon d’Or award this year.

Benzema will not compete in the World Cup for the second time in a row, as he was not in Russia in 2018.

Karim Benzema is considered the leader of the front line in the ranks of the French national team, along with Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann, and he has a score of 37 goals, following he participated in 97 international matches.
