Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – French Karim Benzema, player of the Saudi club Ittihad Jeddah, published a video of his performance of Umrah rituals in the city of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The 35-year-old striker shared a video with his followers on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), which showed his presence in the Great Mosque of Mecca to perform Umrah, and commented: “God willing..Praise be to God.”
Benzema had joined the ranks of the “Tigers” team during the current summer transfer market, with a contract extending until 2026, from Spanish club Real Madrid.
