Karner appeals to the federal states for the accommodation of asylum seekers – factual policy

Vienna – At the state refugee conference on Thursday, among other things, the creation of further accommodation options was discussed. The system has reached its limit due to the rapidly increasing number of refugees, in some areas it is above that, said Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) in a statement on the sidelines of the conference. Additional measures are therefore required in all federal states, “possibly tents will also have to be set up,” says Karner.
