Kochi: Karolis Skinkis will continue as the spotting director of the Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters FC. Kerala Blasters has extended the contract with Carolis for five years.
Carolis will join the club as Spotting Director as part of the strategic reorganization of Kerala Blasters in 2020. Since then he has been playing a crucial role in the sports activities of the club. After Karolis took over, the club qualified for back-to-back playoffs for the first time in ISL history and the team finished as runners-up in the 2021–22 season.
By extending the contract, Karolis will oversee the club’s efforts to ensure efficiency and excellence in all sporting activities. He will lead all aspects of the club from team selection and recruitment to youth development.
