The Lebanese singer Katia Harb was born in Beirut from a religious family, and what some do not know is that she wanted to become a nun, but circumstances changed her life.
She started her artistic career through the Studio El Fan program with director Simon Asmar in the 1992-1993 season, and Diana Haddad, Elisa, Wael Kfoury, Joanna Mallah, Moein Sharif and Katia Farah participated in the same session, then she released her own songs within the albums “Rabee Music Box”. And “Nujoom Studio El Fan – Part 1” and “New Stars 96”. These albums also included songs by her colleagues. After that, Katya released solo albums, the last of which was in 2004 before a dispute arose between them and her manager.
She moved away from the artistic scene in 2005, to study theology at the University of Kaslik.
