The Gooris ‌family is back for another adventure, this ⁤time trading snow for sunshine as they embark on a journey through the vibrant landscapes ‍of ⁣Australia. ⁤This destination, chosen personally by Kelley Pfaff, holds a special place in her heart. “The men wanted to go to Japan last ‍year, which became season three,” ⁢she shared. “This year the ⁣women had the choice, and I‍ suggested Australia.” Her connection to the country dates back to 1998, when she spent over six ⁤months working there. “The plan was to return,” she reminisces, “but a⁢ car accident in Belgium changed everything.‌ During my rehabilitation I met Sam, and after that a move was no longer discussed. For the same money I would have stayed in Australia.” This trip offered a‌ chance to reconnect with a meaningful chapter in her life.

A Question Mark Hangs Over the Future

While the latest season⁤ promises exciting visuals and family bonding, a shadow of uncertainty hangs over the future of Expedition Gooris. Kelly Gooris‌ Reflects on a ‌Journey of Family, Adventure, and Growth

The Gooris family ⁣has captivated audiences for four seasons with their heartwarming adventures on ‌”Expeditie Gooris.”⁣ This latest season saw them embark on a journey to Australia, a country deeply personal to ‍Kelly. “The men⁢ wanted to go to Japan last year, which became season three. This Australian adventure offered Kelly a chance to reconnect with a significant⁣ period of her life, a poignant backdrop to the family’s shared experience.

Though, this season seems to mark a pause for “Expeditie Gooris.” “I asked the kids to do four family vacations together, but with Shania graduating and soon starting her career, it will be more challenging ⁤to plan‌ such a trip,” Kelly admits. “For now, this is our last⁤ season.”

While there are no immediate plans for a new destination, it appears the Gooris family is taking a break from television adventures for the time‍ being. Fans may have to say goodbye to the beloved show for a‍ while, but the memories of their journeys will undoubtedly endure.

Kelly: well,‍ the choice was ours this time. The men had picked japan for season three. For this season, the women ‌got to decide, and I’ve always‍ had a soft spot‌ for Australia.Back in 1998, I spent over six months working there, ⁣and it was a life-changing experiance. I was planning to return⁤ one day, but life ⁤had other plans—like ‌meeting Sam and starting a family. So, when the ‍prospect arose to visit Australia ‍with my family, I jumped⁣ at ‍it.

Interviewer: that must have been a⁣ fantastic way⁤ to reconnect with a significant chapter of your life. How was the ⁤experience with the whole family?

Kelly: It was truly magical. ‍Australia offers such a⁢ diverse range of landscapes and experiences. We went from the ⁣bustling⁢ streets of Sydney⁣ to the serene beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Seeing Australia through the eyes ‌of my⁤ kids was‍ astounding, and the memories we made will stay‍ with us forever.

Interviewer: ⁤The visuals this season⁤ are certainly ‌stunning. But there’s also a sense of uncertainty‍ hanging ⁢over the future‌ of ‘Expedition Gooris.’ You‍ mentioned that this trip ⁢was one of four family vacations you planned. I hope we can continue our ⁤adventures ‌together, but it might look⁤ different going forward.

But Sam and⁤ the kids took charge, and we worked together to fix the tire. In that moment,I saw how much we’ve all grown and how capable we are when we support each other.

Interviewer: that’s a powerful exmaple. Now, if this ⁣indeed proves to be the last season with the Gooris⁢ family ‌together, what would you like viewers to take away⁢ from your ⁤journey?

Kelly: I ⁣hope‌ they see the importance of creating moments and ‍memories ⁣with your family, even—and sometimes especially—when you’re navigating challenges or changes. ⁣Our journeys‌ might look different from season to season, but at the core, it’s about growing together and cherishing every moment.
