Kennesaw State University is gearing up for a celebratory evening as the men’s basketball team prepares to learn its fate in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Following a historic win in the Conference USA Championship, the Owls will find out who and where they will play in March Madness during the Selection Show on Sunday night.
The Owls clinched their spot in the tournament with a decisive 71-60 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night, marking only their second appearance in the NCAA Tournament during their Division I era. Fans are invited to join the team at VyStar Arena to share in the excitement as the 68-team field is revealed, starting at 6 p.m. Eastern Time on CBS CBS.
Doors at VyStar Arena will open at 5 p.m. For both the general public and Kennesaw State students, with free admission and complimentary parking available in the East Parking Deck. Attendees are encouraged to show their Owl pride by sporting Black and Gold attire, and Kennesaw State Owl apparel will be available for purchase at the event.
While the excitement builds for the tournament, details regarding ticket availability for the Owls’ opening game are forthcoming. University officials have noted that KSU will receive a limited number of tickets, regardless of the tournament site to which they are assigned.

Wasik began his tenure at Kennesaw State in August 2021 as an associate director of athletic communications and was promoted in August 2024 according to Kennesaw State University Athletics.
