A bar and grill in West Virginia says they are boycotting selling wings until the price goes down.
Kenny B’s Bar and Grill in Weirton posted on their Facebook page that they will not be having wings this week and won’t be purchasing them with their current supplier.
“Wings have over doubled and d*** near tripled in price in almost 9 months. That’s crazy!!! I’d just rather not do them period. (I) Was told months ago the increase was because the start of Football season. Then several more increases were because of upcoming superbowl. Now football is over and it’s because of March Madness??? Are you kidding me??” Kenny B’s said.
Kenny B’s also said that they would purchase wings if the price goes down with the current supplier or they find a better price with another reputable supplier.
Because of the boycott, Kenny B’s says they will be offering %20 off all food items on March 14 for dine in only.
