Kochi: Kerala Blasters have officially confirmed the contract with striker Ishan Pandita. The contract is for three years. East Bengal and Chennaiyin FC were earlier in the field for the star known as Super Sub in ISL. The player joins Blasters from Jamshedpur FC.
Pandita played 17 matches for Jamshedpur last season. He was in the playing eleven in six matches. Scored two goals.
Ishan is the fifth domestic player to be signed by Blasters this season. Pritam Kotal from Mohunbagan, Prabir Das and Lara Sharma from Bengaluru FC and Navocha Singh on loan from Mumbai City FC have already joined the club. Ishan Pandita will reportedly join Blasters’ Durant Cup squad.
