Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The government has decided to borrow another Rs 1,000 crore to distribute welfare pension in April. The auction for this will be held on 11 at the Mumbai Fort office of the Reserve Bank. The state government can borrow Rs 20,521 crore this financial year. With the borrowing of another 1000 crores, the total borrowing for this year will be 9000 crores. The letter sent by the state requesting to increase the borrowing amount has not yet received a reply from the Centre.
