Thirunalveli: Kerala was bowled out for 218 runs in the first innings once morest Tamil Nadu in Buchi Babu four-day cricket. The innings ended in 75.5 overs.
Tamil Nadu started batting on the first day and reached 50 runs without losing a wicket when the game was stopped.
Sijomon Joseph (62) is Kerala’s top scorer. Sijomon, who came out ninth, reached 62 runs off 93 balls including six fours. Openers Krishnaprasad scored 35 runs and Anand Krishnan scored 19 runs.
