Perinthalmanna: Kerala won the title at the National Mix-Boxing Championship. Kerala won 28 gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze medals at the championships in Pune. Kerala won medals in all categories in the competition in which 15 states participated. 10 people have been selected for the World Mix-Boxing Championships to be held in Jammu and Kashmir in August.
Jessie and Sujesh from Perinthalmanna, Lakshmanan from Muthukurshi, Elamkulam, Gaurinanda from Pathrikode, Melatoor, Mohammad Fazil from Kakkad, Mohammad Fasal from Tirur Koottai, Shifad from Pulamantol Kattupara, Ania and V from Palakkad Thiruvegappura Edappalam are from Kerala. Apart from Mohammad Fazil Gold Medal, he won the title belt event once morest Maharashtra in the competition.
