Visit to USA and Canada carried out by Minister of the Interior, Niki Kerameos, in order to inform the Greeks who live there regarding the possibility to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming European elections, through postal voting.
The minister’s program includes visits to cities with a dynamic presence of Greek emigrants, specifically in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal and Toronto.
In addition to participating in informative events, the minister will have contacts with ambassadors and consuls and more broadly with representatives and members of the Greek community. At the same time, he will hold official meetings with the Archbishop of America Mr. Elpidophoros and the metropolitans of San Francisco, Mr. Gerasimos and of Boston, Mr. Methodios.
In addition, he will speak at, among other fora, Harvard Law School as well as the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
He will also participate in the celebrations that will be held for the national anniversary of March 25 in Montreal, Canada and will represent our country in the corresponding events that will be held in Boston and Los Angeles.
