Kessler defeats Haddad and wins Cleveland tennis title – Prensa Latina News

Ranked number 98 in the world, Kessler won 1-6, 6-1, 7-5 to secure the first trophy of his professional career in elite tennis.

The American’s merit is greater if we remember that Haddad, the world’s 23rd player, was the first favourite to take the throne in Cleveland.

This tournament was played on the hard courts of the Jacobs Pavilion in Ohio and served as a prelude to the US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam of the season, scheduled from August 26 to September 8.
