New job for ex-professional kicker and TV star Kevin Pannewitz. The former winner of “Battle of Reality Stars” is now a street sweeper.

The former Bundesliga kicker and “Kampf der Realitystars” candidate Kevin Pannewitz (29) now works as a street sweeper for the city cleaning service in Berlin. The ex-professional announced this on his Instagram profile on Thursday. He earns 1,100 euros for a part-time job there. “If I’m good, I can be taken over. If I’m shit, then not,” said Pannewitz.

Pannewitz caused a sensation at Hansa Rostock from 2009 in the 2nd Bundesliga, was considered a huge talent and was then signed by VfL Wolfsburg. Again and again, however, he was set back by indiscipline and problems with obesity. A comeback at FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the 3rd division failed in January 2019. In the summer of 2020, Pannewitz took part in the RTL program “Battle of Reality Stars – Shipwreck on Dream Beach” on Phuket. In the end, he won and received prize money of 50,000 euros.
