Visual artist Shalimar Sharbatly, wife of director Khaled Youssef, revealed the best director in the Arab world.
Shalimar said on the “Qaada Setat” program regarding her husband Khaled Youssef: “I agree with his artistic vision. Josie is the greatest director and there is no one better than him. I see him and Atef Al-Tayeb as the most important directors in the Arab world, and two different schools, and this does not diminish Barakat, Mahmoud Zulfikar and other great people.” .
She added: “In their cinema, the staff has a shape, and the rhythm and everything they do in the film amazes me.”
It is noteworthy that director Khaled Youssef is currently showing in cinemas the movie “Al-Iskandarani”, starring the artist Ahmed Al-Awadi, with the participation of an elite group of Egyptian cinema stars, including the artist Hussein Fahmy, the artist Bayoumi Fouad, the artist Zina, the artist Salah Abdullah, and written by Osama Anwar Okasha.
