Last year, Knorr- Bremse AG increased its sales by 6.6 percent to almost 7.15 billion euros. At 10.6 percent, growth in the commercial vehicles segment was significantly higher than in the rail vehicles segment (plus 2.6 percent). However, the group’s profit following taxes fell by a little more than a fifth to 506.3 million euros. The termination of the Russian business as a result of the attack on Ukraine also played a major role in this. The number of employees at Knorr- Bremse rose by more than 1,000 to 31,599 last year. A dividend of EUR 1.45 per share will be proposed to the Annual General Meeting on May 5. In the previous year it was 40 cents more. (awm)
