Kuwait City: Holidays in Kuwait announced. This time there will be many holidays including Independence Day, Liberation Day, Isra’-Miraj Anniversary and a weekend holiday.
The Isra’ – Mi’aj anniversary and holiday is actually on February 18. But every year, the Isra’-Mi’aj holiday, if it falls between two working days, the Cabinet’s directive to move it to the next Thursday is in force in Kuwait. Because of this, instead of Saturday, February 18, the Isra’-Mi’aj holiday will be Thursday, February 23.
Thursday, February 23rd to Monday, February 27th will be a holiday. The official working day will resume on Tuesday, February 28 following the holidays. Meanwhile, Kuwait will have a three-day holiday for New Year. The holiday will be on December 30, 31 and January 1. After the holiday, working days will resume on February 2.
