Koduvalli – A guest worker was arrested in the case of the death of a pedestrian who was seriously injured following being hit by a bike. Jairam Prajapati (22), a native of Rajasthan, was arrested. He was arrested at the Kannur railway station while trying to escape from the scene and leave the state on the Mangala-Lakshadweep Super Fast Express.
Koduvalli police took the bike that caused the accident into custody and the rider was arrested within hours. Sadanandan (69) died in an accident in Wawad town on Tuesday morning at Nayana house in Wawad. Sadanandan died in the evening. The deceased Sadanandan was the owner of Chitra Press in Koduvalli.
