Zurich (awp) – Cabling machine manufacturer Komax acquires the French company Alcava, Schleuniger’s distribution partner for France, Morocco and Tunisia. The Lucerne group thus intends to strengthen its position in the industrial sector in France and on the automobile market in the Maghreb.
This acquisition is part of the integration process of Schleuniger, following the takeover of the latter in August 2022, Komax indicated in a press release on Thursday. Alcava employs around 40 people, including its three subsidiaries Lintech, Malintech and Tulintech.
