Kovid: High court proceedings to go online, including judges | Virtual Hearing | High Court of Kerala

Kochi: The High Court has decided to shift its operations to online. The move comes in the wake of the Kovid expansion. Kovid had affected three judges in the High Court. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Administrative Committee chaired by the Chief Justice. Online sittings will start following discussions with the bar associations.

The High Court started considering cases online following the lockdown came into effect following the expansion of Kovid. Direct sitting began as the Kovid expansion was brought under control.

Direct seating was restricted to video conferencing. With the Kovid and Omikron cases soaring, it has been decided to reconsider the cases online.
