Sunday Aug 13, 2023 Chess and Carrom Tournament organized by Kozhikode NGO Arts inaugurated by K Ratnakaran
International Master K Ratnakaran inaugurated the District Competitions of Employees’ Chess and Carroms Tournament organized by Kozhikode NGO Union. District President M Daityendra Kumar presided. Ajayan (Vadakara Minor Irrigation Section) got first position and KV Krishnan (LSGD Joint Director Office) got second position in chess. SV Surendranath (LSGD Division Office) – PK Sujesh (Minor Irrigation Division Office) team came first in Carams. The team of NK Ramakrishnan–TP Lithish of Vadakara GST office came second. The first place winners will participate in the state tournament at Ernakulam on September 3. State Secretary PP Santhosh, District Secretary Hamza Kannatil and NGO Arts Convener S Satish Kumar spoke.
