Thiruvananthapuram | KPCC president K Sudhakaran has corrected the opinion that the UDF candidate in Puthupally will be from Oommen Chandy’s family. In a press release, Sudhakaran said that he was responding to the question whether the candidate might be from the family of Oommen Chandy and that he meant that he would be considered from the family.
It was meant that Oommen Chandy’s family will be consulted while deciding the candidate. It was clarified that there will be no dispute in the party regarding who is the candidate. No discussion has been held in the party regarding the selection of the candidate. Sudhakaran requested the media not to give misleading news in this situation.
The administration should show superiority to avoid competition in Puthupally. Sudhakaran also asked the BJP to think regarding avoiding the competition. Sudhakaran responded that there should be no politics in sharing the platform with the Chief Minister at the Oommen Chandy memorial function of KPCC. The commemoration will be held at Ayyangali Hall in Thiruvananthapuram at 4 pm tomorrow.
