KSRTC launches ‘end to end’ low floor AC service on Janasatabdi train model for fast travel from capital to Ernakulam and back. There will be no conductor in this bus. This is the first time in the history of KSRTC that the service is running without a conductor.

Except on holidays, the bus journey is scheduled to start from Thiruvananthapuram at 5.10 am and reach Ernakulam at 9.40 am. It will return from Ernakulam at 5.20 pm and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 9.50 pm. Two push back seat buses have been allocated for this service.

The buses will stop for one minute each at Kollam Ayath feeder station and Alappuzha Kommadi feeder station to pick up passengers. There will be no stop at any other place. Passengers can book tickets online from Sunday. It is also possible to buy tickets half an hour before from Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station, Kollam Ayath and Alappuzha Kommadi Feeder Station.
