Kulluna for Healthy Heart Campaign: Free Health Check-ups and Advice in Doha Festival City and Place Vendome

Doha: More than 11,000 people visited the Kulluna for Healthy Heart Campaign, organized in Doha Festival City and Place Vendomell. The campaign helped people understand the importance of taking simple steps to ensure better health.

The campaign, organized in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Conoco Phillips and Kulluna, offered free health check-ups and practical health advice from doctors to people visiting the malls.

Hamad International said that the campaign made visitors aware of various healthy aspects such as the impact of BMI (Body Mass Index) on heart health, control of cholesterol and blood sugar, safe use of medicines, importance of exercise, dangers of smoking, link between obesity and heart disease, risk of high blood sugar levels. Assistant Director of the Training Center Dr. Mahmood Younis said.

More than 6,500 people visited Doha Festival City during the 14-day campaign, while 4,500 people visited Place Vendôme over nine days.
