Al-Marsad newspaper: Kuwaiti artist Khaled Al-Aqrouqa, known as “Old Al-Deera,” was transferred to the Hussein Makki Juma Center for Oncology Treatment in Kuwait, following suffering a critical health illness.
Ould Al-Deira said in statements to Al-Rai newspaper from inside the hospital: Praise be to God. Before and following, I had a nuclear medicine scan, through which it was confirmed that I had three malignant cancerous tumors, in the colon, shoulder and back.
He added: Currently, I am living on painkillers at the Hussein Makki Juma Center, until the request for treatment abroad is accepted. Oh God, grant us goodness and heal sick Muslims.
He continued: I consider medicine merely an acquired achievement, and I believe that the correct treatment comes through trust in God, for He is the one who afflicted us and He is the one who heals us.
Ould Al-Deira discovered that his cancer had returned following he recovered from it in 2015, following medical examinations a few days ago at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital.
