Kuwaiti artist Khaled Al-Aqrouqa is lying in the Hussein Makki Juma Center for Oncology Treatment in order to receive the necessary care until the completion of his travel procedures abroad for treatment.
Al-Aqrouqa’s health condition worsened, so he went to Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital, where he discovered that his cancer had returned once more following he had recovered from it in 2015.
The artist known as “Old Al-Deira” underwent an x-ray examination, which showed that he had three malignant cancerous tumors in the colon, shoulder, and back, and he was given painkillers at the Hussein Makki Jumaa Medical Center.
Al-Aqrouqa was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2009, and was sent for treatment at the American Hospital in Thailand. He returned to Kuwait in 2015 following a six-year treatment trip there, and he received a great reception at Kuwait Airport upon his arrival.
