Kylian Mbappé announced to Parisian leaders his intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season according to a source close to the club.
The star and captain of the French team (25 years old), who arrived in Paris in 2017 from Monaco, had extended his lease in 2022 until 2024 but refused last summer to activate a clause allowing him to stay another year at PSG.
Mbappé will therefore leave PSG free but the player and his management negotiated an agreement last summer according to which the striker waived part of his bonuses on his contract to the tune of “several tens” of millions of euros.
