Kyriakos Mitsotakis “fell” into a Greek canteen owner while walking in New York where he is attending the UN General Assembly.
Mr. Mitsotakis spotted the souvlaki on a New York street and did not miss the opportunity to talk to him.
“Hey, what’s up, what’s your name?” Mr. Mitsotakis asked him. He then asked him where he was from and he replied “from mountainous Nafpaktia” with the prime minister commenting that the Greek ambassador to the USA also hails from the same area, Platanos.
