The Erythra Gaia club of Lakkopetra beach in Western Achaia, just like last year and this year, with a summer mood, continues its journey to highlight the local product, the potato. Organizes the “2nd Potato Festival – Erythra Gaia 2024” on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Terra Rossa on Lakkopetra beach, at 9:30 p.m.
Anyone who lives in the area recognizes the importance of potato cultivation in the minds of every person of any age and it is therefore no coincidence that the majority of the rural population of the area is supported by its production. Our goal is to highlight the culinary value of the potato and the economic revitalization of our region.
The 2nd Potato Festival – Erythra Gaia 2024 is a celebration, which is a pole of attraction for visitors from all over Greece, with free entry, addressed to all ages and includes:
Exhibition of local products
– GASTRONOMY with salty and sweet dishes. All the guests will be offered delicious appetizers, based on the potato, created by:
Pastry Chef Charalambos Kavvadias as well as the Catering of Georgios Pyrris
– Folk Festival with the musical group “KouTouRou”
– DANCE with a dance form by Panagiotis Tsekouras
-Lottery market with rich gifts.
