(CNN Spanish) –– The lifeless body of “Lalo” Rodríguez, a well-known Puerto Rican singer and remembered for “Come, devour me once more”, was found in the municipality of Carolina, confirmed the Puerto Rican police on Tuesday.
According to the press office report, “the police were alerted to a person who did not respond at the scene and when the uniformed officers arrived they found the body of a man, identified as Ubaldo Rodríguez Santos, 64 years old and a resident of Carolina, also known as “Lalo” Rodríguez.
According to the authorities, Rodríguez’s body was found around 3:10 pm in the Sabana Abajo residential area, in the municipality of Carolina, in the north of Puerto Rico.
The Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of the police, together with a prosecutor from the Department of Justice, and personnel from the Institute of Forensic Sciences, took charge of the scene.
The report explained that “there are no visible signs of violence in the place and it will be the autopsy and other tests that determine the causes of death.”
