In contrast to its pure road brothers, the maximum top speed is still reduced to an impressive 310 km / h.

The front hood, fenders and front bumper consist of a single component, which Lamborghini engineers have christened “Cofango” (a combination of Cofano – hood – and Parafango – fender -). This not only saves weight, but also saves time when making pit stops. Special air channels on the hood improve the airflow through the central cooler and at the same time contribute to more downforce. In addition, the Huracán offers a new front splitter, which directs the airflow in a targeted manner to the vehicle underbody and rear diffuser. The new design of the bonnet also ensures improved air cooling in the engine compartment. The adjustable rear wing optimizes the aerodynamics according to the requirements of the respective race track. The aerodynamic balance of the vehicle can thus be changed by 13 percent, whereby the STO can be adapted to different driving styles and conditions. The overall efficiency of the air flow has been improved by 37 percent and the contact pressure has been increased by 53 percent compared to the Huracán Performante.
Thanks to the carbon body, the empty weight of the Huracan STO at 1,339 kg is another 43 kg below the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. This is also ensured by a lighter windshield and special magnesium rims. Optionally on it: Bridgestone Potenza tires – either as road or racing version. For the appropriate skills on the slopes, the sharpest of all Huracáns offers details such as rear-wheel steering, a more direct steering ratio, as well as the three driving modes STO, Trofeo and Pioggia. The Lamborghini Veicolo Dinamica Integrata driving dynamics system is optimized for different road conditions and coupled to a variable damper setting.
