Latam Brasil will resume the Brasília – Santiago operation with three weekly flights on June 1st this year. The company plans to transport up to 20 thousand passengers per year in its new operation between Brazil and Chile, which already has regular operations Guarulhos – Santiago, Galeão – Santiago, Confins – Santiago, Curitiba – Santiago, Florianópolis – Santiago and Porto Alegre – Santiago .

The Brasília – Santiago flight will always be operated on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on board Airbus A320 (174 passengers) and A321 (220 passengers) aircraft with an average duration of 5 hours. It will take off at 8:50 am (local time) from Brasília and at 1:40 pm (local time) from Santiago. Compared to a trip connecting at São Paulo/Guarulhos airport, the new route reduces the average travel time between the Brazilian federal capital and Chile from 7 to 5 hours.

The Brasília – Santiago route had not been operated by Latam since March 2020, following the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic and international health restrictions.
