Investing.com – All eyes were on the publication of inflation figures in the United States this week on the eve of the ECB meeting and a week before that of the Federal Reserve. The market remains cautious regarding the Fed’s possible decision.

Overall, markets were expecting a halt to rate hikes at upcoming Fed meetings. However, some doubts remain regarding a possible additional increase.
